I began to post video on the internet in 1999, at 160 pixels by 120 for people still on dial-up connections. When videoblogging emerged in 2005, I upgraded to 320x240 and an RSS feed—what iTunes would soon call a podcast. I stuck with the format even as YouTube ascended, but over time my output declined.
